Terrace RCMP seek public assistance to locate missing woman

Terrace RCMP are intensifying their search for a woman who has been missing since the end of August.

Mary-Anne Lawson, 47, was last spotted on the afternoon of August 31, around 3 p.m. At the moment, it remains uncertain what Lawson was wearing on the day of her disappearance, and whether she had intended to travel somewhere specific.

Lawson is identified as a First Nations woman. She stands at 5’4” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Terrace RCMP is encouraging anyone who might have information about Lawson’s current location, or who may have seen her recently, to come forward.

If you have any information related to Lawson’s whereabouts or believe you’ve seen her, you are asked to urgently contact the Terrace RCMP at (250) 638-7400. Additionally, anyone wishing to offer tips can reach out to Terrace Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS.

RCMP officers are stressing the importance of public vigilance and assistance in helping bring Lawson back safely.
