Terrace Old School Warriors win men’s basketball league

The Warriors defeated Greenville 97-70 in the finals last night, Feb. 1.

The Old School Warriors defeated GAC (Greenville) in the Terrace Men’s Basketball League finals last night, Feb. 1.

Scoring was close for the first half of the final match, but the Warriors pulled ahead in the third quarter, winning the game 97-70.

On the Warriors team is Aaron Anderson, Steve Critchley, Sean Dusdal, Chapen Leblond, Josh MacKay, Matthew Midgley, Paul More, Arne Pelletier, and Beja Singh.

The men’s league has 11 teams this year, coming from Terrace, Kitimat, Hazelton, Greenville and New Aiyansh.

Teams play once a week from September to the end of January or early-February.

The ladies league has four teams, with Thunder (New Aiyansh) named the ladies victor this year.
