The Snow Valley Nordic Club's annual Chocolate Marathon was a big success this year.
In total 65 skiers came out to Onion Lake ski trails Feb. 26 to tackle distances of 1.5, 5, 10, 15 and 30 km.
The event is called the Chocolate Marathon because everyone who crosses the finish line gets a chocolate bar.
That beats a medal in our books,” said club president Elizabeth Thorne, adding everyone had fun at the event.
She also expressed her thanks to the Terrace Search and Rescue for standing by to assist with first aid if necessary.
