A crowd of 164 runners took off in the Centennial Spring Classic Fun Run this morning, April 29.

It was a cloudy and chilly spring morning, but more than 30 kids tracked a double-loop around the school yard of Centennial Christian School in a kids fun run, just prior to the main 5K race.

At 10:30, the crowd of more than 150 people took off in the 5K fun run loop, with faster runners in the lead and folks pushing strollers taking up the back of the pack.

The run was followed in the afternoon with a community BBQ in celebration of the school’s 50th anniversary this year.

Below are photos of the start of the spring classic, and at the bottom are a few from the kids race.
