Pony Club tests its knowledge

Several members of the Terrace Pony Club recently attended a regional quiz in Quesnel March 5.

Several members of the Terrace Pony Club recently attended a regional quiz in Quesnel March 5.

Quizzes are non-riding events meant to test theoretical knowledge of horsemanship and other Pony Club activities.

Regional Quiz competitions qualify pony club members to participate in the annual National Quiz.

During the quiz, Pony Club members compete as both individuals and teams participating in three categories: written, visual and competitive games, which test knowledge

Group placements were:

The C Level team (Riley Levebvre, Amy Bjorgaard and Lauren Jensen) – 2nd

The D level team (Danielle Sexton, Erin Moore, Abby Watson and Jessica Dahl) – 5th

Individual placements were:

Riley Levebvre – 3rd in the C2 category

Amy Bjorgaard – 2nd in the C1 category

Lauren Jensen – 4th, in the C category

Danielle Sexton – 4th in the D2 category

Abby Watson – 2nd in the D1 category

Jessica Dahl – 1st in the D category
