It is with great sadness that the family of Walter McIntyre announces his passing on Monday, May 14, 2018. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Flo (Fleurette), his children Teresa (Shane), Craig (Dorene), Mike (Trish) and Drew (Michelle).

Walt will also be fondly remembered by his fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his great-grandson, Jayden, his mother and father, sister and two brothers.

Walter was born in Saskatoon and grew up in the Coquitlam area. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree from UBC. He became a teacher, majoring in mathematics and taught high school math for 35 years, primarily in Terrace at Skeena and Caledonia.

In addition to the love for his family, he also loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, canoeing, camping and woodworking.

A funeral mass was held at St. Joseph's Church, Langley, BC, on Friday, May 18, 2018.
