Victor was born July 26, 1930 in Glenside Sk. He was one of ten siblings, including his twin sister Mary. He moved to Abbotsford in 1948 and a few years later to Terrace which became his life long home.
Vic met his wife Eleanor (nee Peters) during this time and they were married August 21 1957.
Vic worked at Pohle Lumber Mill as a steam engineer, and in 1959 started his own business. In addition to Vic Froese Trucking, he was involved in a variety of other businesses. He was an active member of the Terrace Alliance Church. His commitment to Terrace was strong, and he supported many community developments and projects.
Vic loved the time he spent with family and friends. He was a man of quiet faith, good humour, and strength of character.
He will be missed by his family: Ernie & Leslie Froese, Gord and Lisa Froese, Brenda and Dave Bartley, Sandra and John Rosenberg. 10 grandchildren and spouses; and five great grandchildren.
