In loving memory ~
Thomas William Wick, of Terrace, B.C. passed away at his home in Terrace on February 16th, 2023 after his battle of several months with cancer.
Thomas, also known as Tommy, Tom and TW, was born in New Westminster, B.C. on November 9th, 1957. He is survived by his wife Paula Wesley, and their son, Drakon Wesley-Wick as well as his mother Nola McIntyre and several siblings.
Tom's final work was as a gas bar attendant with Terrace Safeway where he was happy and touched by many. He held many varied jobs in his life, just wanting to look after himself and those around him.
Tom volunteered for many various organizations after he graduated from the Deaf school in 1975. From there he lived and worked in Calgary and Edmonton before moving back to B.C. in 1990.
Tom was a kind man with a delightful Deaf accent and a sense of humour. He loved the outdoors, camping with friends and family, as well as driving the many miles and miles of the West Coast of B.C. and the Rocky Mountains. He loved his outings and family, the many memories and experiences made with him will live on in memory.
The Family wishes to thank the local hospital, Palliative Home Care Team, and Medical Interpreting Services for their support and dedication.
At his request, there will be no formal service, for now he will join his late father in a surrounding of forest beauty. The family will announce a Celebration of Life for Tom at a later date.
