Theresia was a very happy, outgoing person. She always had a smile on her face and brought laughter wherever she went. She passed away as a result of cancer at the age of 77.
Theresia was born in Hungary and moved to Germany in 1954 at the age of 12. Her family then moved to the Kitimat/Terrace area, where she spent her adult years. She enjoyed nature, mushroom picking, traveling, crocheting, and spending time with loved ones.
She spent many years working at Lyndsey's Cartage and Storage as a packer before retiring at 55.
Theresia left behind her daughters Betty (Bobby), Lorrie and son Glenn. Her granddaughters Sarah, Jenn (Rod), Kayla (Matt), Taylor Peterson (Shane) daughter of Glenn, and grandson Russell (Kristen). Also, 6 great grandchildren Shaylen, Caeleb, Bryce, Addison, Hailey and Emma, her sisters Martha and Margaret (Darryl).
She was predeceased by her husband Russell Peterson, her daughter Joanie Peterson, mother Anna Urner and great granddaughter Quinn.
