In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved man, Terrence Francis Drake Sr. Terry passed away March 1st 2024 in his home surrounded by his family. He fought a brave battle that took his life in 6 weeks.
Born in Saint John NB in 1945, Terry was an avid sportsman and enjoyed the outdoors. Terry married his wife Thelma Jeanne in 1964, and together they moved across Canada to Terrace BC, where they raised their 4 children.
Terry leaves behind his wife Jeanne, daughters Joan (Dean), and Lori (Patrick), sons Terry Jr. (Marianna) and Robert (Slyvia), as well as 3 siblings and several nieces and nephews.
Terry was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; all of whom he would dote on whenever he had the opportunity. Terry was a compassionate man who always thought of others and would help them along the way if he could.
Terry was a talented wood carver and craftsman, and enjoyed spending the summer months outside working on various projects. He also lived for the outdoors, especially hunting, and was looking forward to hunting during this year's season.
Terry cherished the memories he had with his family and friends throughout his life, and would cheerfully share those stories during the family dinners throughout the year. Terry would want his family and friends to now cherish and share their memories of the wonderful times they shared with him.
