In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that the family of Sheila Rose Monkman (nee Eklund) announce her sudden passing on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the age of 77.
Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Wayne; children, Brent (Vicky), and Michelle (Neal); 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Henry, Eleanor McKinley, Victor, Sandra Foster, Diana Miller, Darlene MacLean; sisters-in-law, Ann Eklund, Darlene Eklund; numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Sheila was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Dora; siblings, Ernest, Raymond, Gordon, Leonard and Florence Fisher; brother and sisters-in-law, Bernice Eklund, Rose Eklund, Dale Hadland, Garry Foster, and niece Darlene Babich.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at MacKay's Funeral Services in Terrace, B.C. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of Mills Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion.
