Survived by wife of 28 years, father Robert Winters (Marion); brothers Dave (Sylvie), shawn; sister Lori-Ann (Bruno); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. Predeceased by his mother Judith Lynn Ouellette; grandparents Nick and Joyce Dokuchic.
God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be
So He put his arms around you, and whispered "Come with me".
You didn't deserve what you went through and so He gave you rest
God's garden must be beautiful, He only lets in the best.
My heart still aches, the tears still flow
the pain is the same as it was yesterday
I love you now, as I loved you then
I wait for the day when I will come your way.

At Richard's request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society in memory of Richard.
