May 13, 1945 - January 18, 2021
So sad to announce the passing of my husband Peter on January 18th. Peter was born in Mindelheim, Germany on May 13th, 1945. He emigrated to Canada when he was 19. He was the proud owner of the Terrace Barber Shop for over 50 years.
Peter loved music, especially the classics and was a master accordionist. He had many hobbies including his miniature train setup, building models and tinkering. He had a large collection of books. He was interested in astronomy and history and also the mysteries of the world and the many new scientific discoveries.
Peter loved his stepdaughters and the grandchildren. He was big kid himself, always building something that would interest them.
In the past years Peter lost his mother and father, Elisabeth and Willi also his siblings, Felicitas, Roman and Michael. He often spoke of them and felt lonely that they were gone.
For 9 months Peter bravely endured a debilitating disease. I would like to thank the nursing team who cared, and treated him with dignity. They became his family.
I am comforted knowing he is now at peace.
