It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ole Christian Gilbertson of Surrey, BC.
Ole passed away peacefully at his home in Surrey on October 4, 2017 after a 7 year battle with cancer. His wife and sister Judy where by his side.
Ole was 62 years young and grew up and graduated in Terrace, BC.
He relocated to Vancouver as front man for the rock band 357 and remained in the area until his passing.
He always had a great story or joke to share, loved music, vintage vehicles and spending time with his family both human and furry.
Ole is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Tami Weir and her daughter Sarah Weir, his sisters, Carolyn Gibson, Judith Cookman (John), Marion Broome (Greg) and nephew Abraam Cookman (Maude) and niece Lea Broome (Matt)
He was a very special man and will be forever in our hearts.
