It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Nicole on December 28th after a long battle with mental health & addictions.
She fought the deadly disease with courage and determination, wanting so much to get well so she could be a full-time mommy to her precious son Jaiden. The family never lost hope that she would find sustained recovery until the moment we received the news of her death.
Thank you to our many family and friends who have supported us on our journey over the past several years. Heartfelt thanks to the ICMT, Emerg/psych doctors and nurses, Dr. Meyburg, Fire Department, RCMP, Ambulance, MCFD, MH&A, Kermode Friendship Centre and Ksan Transition House, who responded time and again to Nicole's struggles with compassion and understanding.
Nicole leaves behind her son Jaiden, mom and dad, Nancy and Kevin, brothers Trevor and Jeffrey (Natasha), Grandmas Mary Jane (Al) and Yolly, Auntie Penny (Doug),Uncles Jamie, Michael (Lisa), David (Beth), Quentin (Angie), nieces Maddix and Hadley, cousins, Kory, Matthew, Jenna, Carisa, Courteney, Macey, Sam, Kip, Donald and Natalie.
The family is so very grateful for all the comfort given through friends travelling to Terrace, calls, visits, cards, food, assistance, flowers and hugs. Thank you - your kindness will never be forgotten.
