Margret Edith Johnston (nee Schulz), born in Terrace on May 27, 1954; died in St. Paul's Hospital on July 9, 2018. Marg was an artist who worked mostly with acrylics and painting but had developed a passion for photography.
In Terrace, she worked many jobs the longest and last of which was at the hatchery. Marg moved to Port Moody in 1989 and married her best friend. While there, Marg joined COPE and worked for different Union associated organizations. She retired and moved with her husband to Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast in 2010.
To the end, Marg was a tower of strength and compassion, caring for her home, her husband, her art, and her birds and dog.
In respect of her wishes, there will be no service but her ashes will be scattered at a place of her choosing near Terrace. If you wish to honour Marg and her life, please contribute to your favourite charity. Hers were rescue centres for parrots and wildlife.
