Died quietly at home after a lengthy illness. Survived by her husband Mark, son Travis, daughter Teresa (Robert) and grandchildren Brandon, Hailey and Jordan. Predecesed by her son Calvin.
Lois is best remembered as the Program Coordinator for Terrace Big Brothers and Big Sisters. She was instrumental in developing and running the in school, and community based mentoring programs.
For her work at the Terrace Sexual Assault Centre she received the RCMP Good Citizenship Award.
She was also deeply involved in the community. She has been a member of Skeena Valley Rotary Club, Mentoring BC, and the Chair person of Terrace & District community Services Society. Volunteer activities have included the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program, Hospice Society, Theatre Alive Society and Air Cadets.
Lois was a dynamic individual who will be missed by all who knew her.
