In loving memory ~

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces Mom's peaceful passing.

Ethel is survived by her husband of 60 years John, daughters Cathy (Brian) Jackson and Peggy (Tony) Pavao and grandchildren Jenna, Cassidy and Trace Pavao. Her brother George (May) Mountford, her nieces Ena (Ray) Allen, Ellen (Tom) Tzakis and Elaine (John) Barbusci and nephews Tom (Blanche) Ed (Patti) and Doug Wight. She was predeceased by her twin sister Edith Wight.

We would like to thank Dr. Geminhart, Northern Health home support, caregivers Sheryl, Diane, and Koni, the nurses and care aides at Mills Memorial Hospital and Terraceview Lodge. We thank also family members and friends who supported us in care for our Mom.

She loved her family, friends and neighbours, hosting them for dinners, bridge games and her annual Canada Day Party. Over the years she was part of a Friday Lunch club, Bridge club, Sunday Breakfast Group, and BP Tuesday Pasta Night. She was an amazing seamstress and quilter, cook and baker. She was a big supporter of the Totem Saddle Club due to her daughters' horse habit, the Pacific Northwest Music Festival, Terrace Concert Society and we can't forget the old Terrace Co-op.

A celebration of life is planned for Mom on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Terrace BC. (4640 Park Ave) It will be followed by food and refreshments.

Join us in sharing stories and eating some food as Mom would have wanted us to do!

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in her memory to the Pacific Northwest Music Festival.
