December 16, 1931 - December 22, 2019
Ernst Clemens Kuemper passed away to be with the Lord on December 22nd 2019 at the age of 88 years.
He is survived by his wife Helena and step-daughter's Rhonda and Valerie from Saskatchewan, son Kevin Kuemper and daughter in law Trudy, Grandchildren Kevin jr. Kuemper and Kristal Kuemper of Kelowna also brothers Benno (Irene) Kuemper, Ed (Del) Kuemper, Fred (Loretta) Kuemper, sisters Delores Kuechle, Elenore (Garvin) O'Boyle, sister in law Polly Kuemper, brother in law Ed (Rose) Gleason all from Terrace B.C.
Also sister in law Shirley Houle and God son Rod Houle of Delta B.C. and many nieces and nephews and cousins in B.C. Alberta and Saskatchewan, Ernie leaves behind many friends in Salmon Arm, Terrace and Quesnel B.C. and indeed Saskatchewan. Ernie was predeceased by his first wife Dorothy of 57 years and their eldest son Terry .... also sister Marie, brothers Ray, Joe, Art, Gilbert Kuemper and Ron Kuechle.
Ernie was born and raised at St. Peter's colony in Saskatchewan before coming to B.C. in the early 1950's seeking work and opportunity, Ernie worked as a heavy equipment operator his entire working life and definitely did his part to help build and maintain roads and other infrastructure projects all over British Columbia. Dad will be greatly missed but always remembered.
Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Salmon Arm at a later date followed by a celebration of his life.
