In Loving Memory of Edwin Bernard Kuemper ~
Passed away peacefully in Terrace, BC, January 1, 2021. Born January 7, 1936 in Humbolt, SK to John and Bernadina Kuemper (Taphorn).
Edwin was the 8th child of a family of 11. Raised on a farm at Muenster, SK and attended Golden Rule School.
Edwin worked on the family farm and for other farmers. Worked at the Sawmills around Prince George; for City of Prince George in the ice arenas as custodian, volunteered as a firefighter for Forestry, was a Masonry at Yale Tunnel, was a custodian at Veritas School and Sacred Heart Church in Terrace. Edwin and Dolores also ran a small proprietorship cleaning office.
Survived by: Loving wife Dolores (Del) of 54 years. Sisters Eleanor O'Boyle, Dolores Kuechle. Brothers Benno and Fred. Brothers in law Garvin O'Boyle, Don (Joan) Campbell, Lorne Campbell. Sisters in law Paula, Helena, Irene, Loretta Kuemper and Sharon. And many nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by: his parents John and Bernadina, sister Marie Bourgeault, Marcel (brother in law) and nephew Lyle, brothers Ray & Theresa (sister in law), Joe & Charlotte (sister in law), Art and Murray (nephew), Gilbert & Betty (sister in law), Ernst & Dorothy (sister in law), and Terry (nephew), Ron Kuechle (brother in law), Beverley Campbell (sister in law). Parents in law Jack and Mrytle Campbell. Along with 3 Fury Friends: Snoopy, Cindi and Maegee.
Special Thank you to Dr. Lotz for many years of care and compassion. Dr. Strydom for his comforting ways. In addition, our camping friends for many years of wonderful support and memories.
