It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Edie Scaife. Edie passed away in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 93.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Ed) Scaife in 2008 and her daughter Roberta Lynn Scaife on May 03, 1968.
She is survived by sons Jim (Marianne), Tom (Cathy), David, daughters Cathy (Ron) and Bev. As well as 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Edie and Ed were early pioneers in Kitimat, arriving in Kitimat in 1956 from Saskatchewan to work and raise a family of six. Ed worked at Alcan and later Johnston Barclay and Scaife Realty. They later moved to Terrace for a brief time, then moved to Edmonton where they lived the rest of their lives.
Rest in peace Mom you will be forever remembered and loved. There will be no memorial service at this time (as per Edie's wishes). However the family will have a memorial at a later date.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Capital Care Norwood (Edmonton) and her dear friend Cindy Bernier for all of their love and care.
