October 16, 1950 - October 23, 2018
Donald was born in Prince Rupert B.C. and grew up in Terrace BC. He worked in industrial sales in Terrace and Vancouver, and travelled extensively throughout B.C. where he had many customers and friends. After retiring Donald moved to Nanaimo to be closer to family. He enjoyed gardening, cooking family meals and hiking adventures.
Donald passed away in Nanaimo after a short but fierce battle with cancer. We are grateful for the gift of FAMILY that Donald gave us in his last weeks by bringing us together to care for and support him.
Donald will be remembered by his brother Derek Bartlett, sister Gail Ringwood (Stephen), nephew Dylan Ringwood (Kat), nieces Kama Ringwood, Jodi Gaudet (Glen) and Lori Tribbeck (Glen), cousin Sandra Parr (Lorie) and other family. He will be missed by his friend and hiking partner Pat Lewis.
There will be a family service in Terrace at a later date.
