It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Dolores Kuechle (Kuemper). Born in Humbolt Saskatchewan, and raised on the nearby farm in Muenster, Dolores passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 13th, in Kelowna.
She was predeceased by husband Ronald Kuechle in 2008.
Dolores is survived by her five children Joanne Mills, Brenda Benwell, Karen Goetz (Dwight), Susan Dodds (Larry), and Wayne Kuechle (Larrisa). Dolores is also blessed and survived by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Dolores came from a family of 11; she is survived by her sister Eleanor O'Boyle and her brothers Benno and Fred.
She is predeceased by her sister Marie Bourgeault and brothers Ray, Joe, Art, Gilbert, Ernie, and Edwin.
Dolores and Ron moved to Terrace in 1962. She spent time as a care aid, a librarian at Veritas School, and was an active member of the CWL. She will be well remembered for reading to children and her delicious baking - especially buns.
She moved in 2023 to Kelowna to be closer to her children.
The funeral will be held at Sacred Heart Parish in Terrace in the spring of 2024.
