It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of David in the late afternoon of December 16, 2017 while residing at Terraceview Lodge.
David was born at St. Lina, Alberta to Frank and Elenora and raised on the family farm in the area.
Adventure took him to Ontario as a young man where he married and raised his children.
In 1982 while working in Whitehorse, Yukon he met his wife Eileen. Work took them from the Yukon to Edmonton and after retiring they moved to Terrace to be near her family.
David is survived by his wife Eileen, his children Brian, John, Peter, David, Linda, Holly all of Ontario, his daughter Sandra of Calgary, brother Albert, sister Esther as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Predeceased by both his parents, sister Eunice, brothers Rueben and Chester, as well as son Allen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to Dr. Linton, the staff at both Mills Memorial Hospital and Terraceview Lodge for their concerned care of David and support of the family. You know who you are.
A huge thank you to friends who have provided their love and support, a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to over these past few months.
