Beulah Mae Christiansen

Beulah Mae Christiansen

July 8, 1944 – June 29, 2006

Beulah was born in Digby, N.S., July 8, 1944 and bravely passed from this life June 29, 2006 in Rosswood B.C.

She was predeceased by her parents Loran and Hilda Handspiker, brother Clyde, sister Helen Morton and brother-in-law James (Bud) Morton.

Left to mourn are her loving husband of 47 years Eli Christiansen, daughter Carolyn, son Alan (Sherelyn); sisters Louise Morton, Belva (Ron) Snider; brother-in-law Don Morton; grandchildren Kelsey Lockhart (Gerry), Erin Lockhart (Justin), Myles and Britt Anderson, Lucas Dodge, Samuel and Jared Christiansen; great-grandaughter Brooke-Aiesha Therrien and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Beulah was a wonderful woman devoted to her family, strong and compassionate, who enjoyed life despite a life-long battle with diabetes.

She was a woman of simple pleasures – walks with the Rosswood ladies, visits with her sisters, cooking for her family, good books and writing and receiving a good long letter.

Her memory lives within each of us and she touched the lives of everyone she knew. She had a deep sense of fairness, was fiercely loyal and staunch in her beliefs.

We know she is in a better place and is watching over our lives, shaking her head in disbelief over mistakes made and rejoicing in our triumphs.

“Gramma’s up in Heaven, way up higher than the clouds – can we drive there?”

Sorrowfully missed and deeply loved.
