Woman struck by vehicle near REM Lee Theatre

On June 5, shortly before 10 p.m., a 67-year-old woman was injured while walking to her vehicle on the street when a small red vehicle, either an SUV or car, hit her on the left side of her body injuring her foot as it pulled out of the parking lot of the REM Lee Theatre, reported police today June 6.

The vehicle stopped a short distance away, then continued on. It had just picked up a male passenger.

The woman was able to drive herself home where a family member took her to Mills Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries, said police.
