Progressive Ventures and All West Glass workers were on hand to replace glass into Creative Zone's storefront window after a car crashed into it today.

Shoppers and employees of Creative Zone were surprised today when a vehicle crashed into the store's front window.

According to store owner, Kathy Legault, a driver pulling in front of the store failed to stop and drove directly into the building, shattering the front window and bending the steel window frame and the stores outside wall.

“She was pulling in, and just seemed to accelerate,” said Legault, who added it looked as though the driver hit the wrong pedal when trying to break.

She described the driver of the vehicle as an elderly woman accompanied by her sister.

No one was injured in the incident, although Legault said she is still quite shaken up.

After the crash the passenger in the vehicle proceeded to enter the store to shop.

The vehicle was not badly damaged and was driven away from the scene.

The store is to remain open and the window is being fixed.
