Planned closures to vehicle traffic on two routes from lower Terrace up to the bench tonight have nothing to do with erosion or slope stability problems.
Instead, City of Terrace workers are conducting inspections of storm piping on Lanfear and Kalum (Skeenaview) hills.
Tonight Lanfear will be closed from 9 p.m. to midnight after which crews will shift to Kalum (Skeenaview) and it will be closed from midnight to 6 a.m. May 14.
“The public should use alternate routes if travelling during those times,” stated the city.
