Service to all routes covered by the Terrace Regional Transit System will be delayed because of “treacherous road conditions” in Terrace, from Tuesday, Dec. 27, until the situation improves, BC Transit advised in a release after 4:30 pm Monday.
Roads will be evaluated in the morning to see if its possible to resume service at 11:00 am.
The transportation branch is “hoping this will give Public Works time to sand and gravel bus routes.”
BC Transit promised to update the situation as staff evaluate road conditions.
