Terrace’s Dudley Little Bridge on Hwy 16 faces overnight construction starting tonight

Motorists planning to use the Dudley Little Bridge on Highway 16 should be prepared for traffic disruptions. Beginning tonight, the situated bridge between Kerr Street and Kofoed Drive heading into Terrace, will see restricted traffic flow due to construction work.

According to Drive BC’s website, the construction will limit traffic to single-lane alternating movement. The restrictions are scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. on August 22 and will be in effect until 6 a.m. on August 23.

The overnight construction is part of a scheduled road maintenance project on the bridge.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution, expect potential delays, and consider alternate routes if possible. It is essential for road users to pay heed to any traffic signs, signals, and personnel on site.
