The Terrace Sportsplex is once again offering skate rentals for public skating sessions for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents can also register for public skating both in-person at the arena or online through the city’s website.

“We have a new point-of-sale system to allow for these updates, so please be patient with staff as they learn the new system,” the city said in a Facebook post.

“Our goal is to help make it easier for people to join us for skates, so please bear with us as we navigate the changes.”

Although the city is offering skate rentals, helmets are not available. People can pay for public skating and skate rentals on debit and credit, but is not accepting cash at this time.

The Sportsplex is restricted to 50 individuals, which includes skaters and spectators, so the city recommends booking in advance of the session.

Student (15-18) —$3.25

Adult (19-64) — $5.25
