Prime Minister Stephen Harper is among those today congratulating Terrace's Caleb Brousseau for his bronze medal win at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
Brousseau had a time of 1:22.05 in the skiing men's super-G (sitting) competition.
This is Brousseau's first appearance at a Paralympic Winter Games.
“I ... offer my sincere congratulations to Caleb Brousseau for winning a bronze medal in Para-Alpine skiing men’s super-G (sitting). Mr. Brousseau is an inspiration to all Canadians,” said Harper in a statement released today.
Since joining the Canadian Para-Alpine Ski Team in 2011-12, Mr. Brousseau has recorded five top-10 finishes at IPC World Cup and World Championship events.
The 2014 Paralympic Winter Games continue all this week.
