THE REMEMBRANCE Day ceremony today follows in this order:

At 10:15 a.m. the parade forms at the Safeway parking lot to be led by parade marshall Comrade Brian Kirkaldy and Sgt. at Arms Comrade Aaron Fisher.

At 10:25 a.m., the parade marches to Tillicum Theatre where the service will start at 10:54 a.m. with an opening prayer by Reverend Wally Hargrave and followed by the singing of O Canada and the hymn Abide with Me.

At 11 a.m. is Last Post with the Terrace Community Band followed by a couple moments of silence. Then will be the Lament with Terrace Pipes and Drums followed by Reveille with the Terrace Community Band.

Then Act of Remembrance with the legion president followed by a message from legion past president Comrade Les Sinnott.

After a hymn and the singing of God Save the Queen the parade will reform in front of the theatre and proceed to the Cenotaph in front of city hall for laying of wreaths.

Legion Branch 13 president Debbie Sinnott and veteran Cmde Bill McRae will take the salute enroute to the Cenotaph. Afterward, the parade will return to Safeway parking lot.

Members of the Scouting and Guiding movement are welcomed at the Happy Gang Centre for hot dogs after the parade disbands at the Safeway parking lot.
