Terrace RCMP responded to 87 calls for service from June 25, 8 a.m. till June 27, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, 25 people were lodged in Terrace cells – 19 of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

While on patrol, police observed a man passed out on the ground next to a pile of empty alcohol containers in Brolly Square. The 57-year-old man was arrested.

A yelling intoxicated man being aggressive on Greig Ave. Police arrested a 28-year-old man.

Two men were observed looking at a handgun on Lakelse Ave. Police located a man matching the description inside of the Coast Cold Beer and Wine Store and arrested him. Two fake guns were found on the man. The man was in breach of conditions to not be inside of a liquor store. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

Police observed a man staggering in traffic on Lakelse Ave./Sparks St. The 38-year-old man was arrested.

Man passed out in a flower planter in Brolly Square. Police arrested a 72-year-old man.

A woman being aggressive and threatening people outside of a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. Police arrested a 43-year-old woman.

Two men and a woman fighting in front of the Coast Cold Beer and Wine store on Lakelse Ave. Checks were done of the area.

Three intoxicated people hanging out at Brolly Square. Police arrested a 41-year-old man.

Large group of intoxicated people hanging out in a parking lot on Greig Ave. Police arrested a 31-year-old woman, a 41-year-old man, and a 28-year-old man. Charges are being forwarded on the woman who was in breach of a no consume alcohol condition.

Two loitering people annoying a business owner by constantly asking to use the washroom. Checks were done of the area and police spoke with the business owner.

Police observed an intoxicated man on Greig Ave. The man was arrested.

Youth smoking marijuana outside of a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. Checks were done of the area.

Man and woman arguing on Lakelse Ave. Police spoke with a man and woman. No offence committed.

Elsewhere Terrace

Landlord/tenant dispute. Police spoke with the people involved.

Intoxicated man trying to fight with another man in George Little Park. Police arrested a 39-year-old man.

False residential alarm on Straume Ave.

False business alarm on Thomas St.

False 911 call. Police tracked down the cell phone owner.

Loud music on Agar Ave. A man was spoken with by police.

Possible impairment by marijuana in a vehicle parked at the Skeena Liquor Store. A vehicle was pulled over. Unsubstantiated.

Man passed out at a table of a restaurant on Keith Ave. Police arrested a man. Checks determined that the 20-year-old man had a warrant for his arrest. The man is held for court.

Curfew check of a 37-year-old man. Possible breach. Under investigation.

Suicidal 19-year-old woman. Police spoke with the woman. Unsubstantiated.

911 hang up at NWCC. Checks were done of the area.

Possible impaired driver in a blue Toyota Corolla on Medeek Ave. Checks were done of the area.

Intoxicated woman assaulted another woman. Police arrested the 47-year-old woman. She punched a police officer and made attempts to spit on the police officers.

Man and woman physically fighting walking on Straume Ave. Police arrested a 30-year-old man. He became combative and smashed his own head into the silent patrolman of the police car causing minor injuries to himself. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel regarding the domestic.

Loud party on Little Ave. Checks were done.

Loud gathering in the backyard of a residence on Agar Ave. Police spoke with a group.

Domestic dispute. Man refusing to leave a residence. Police spoke with the couple and the man agreed to go elsewhere till cooler heads could prevail.

Domestic assault. Upon arrival at the residence, police could hear a physical altercation occurring so the door was breached to gain immediate entry. A 34-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested. The woman was on conditions to have no contact with the man. An amount of drugs were seized. Charges are being forwarded on both.

A garden hose with a sprayer attachment was stolen from a residence on Haugland Ave.

Two men and a woman, all intoxicated, causing a disturbance at a restaurant on Keith Ave.

A white Toyota did a U-turn in the parking lot of a business on Kalum St. and sprayed rocks on a window.

A woman's glasses were broken in an assault. Police involvement was not wanted.

Sexual assault investigation.

Investigation of a breach of a no contact condition.

A red truck driving erratically on Halliwell Ave. Checks were done of the area.

Children left unattended in a silver Ford Windstar van in the Walmart parking lot. Checks were done of the area.

Teens smoking a pipe on Straume Ave. Checks were done of the area.

A man threw a glass bottle on Kalum St. and caused it to break. Checks were done of the area.

Ongoing issue with a speeding driver in a white Chevrolet Aveo on Agar Ave.

False business alarm on Kalum St.

Domestic. Police conducted checks. It was a loud party. People were spoken with.

Man staggering getting into a grey four-door car on Sparks St. Checks were done of the area.

A horn was heard on Lanfear Cr. Checks were done.

Police observed two boys sitting at the skateboard park. Upon closer examination, it was observed they were doing drugs. An amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized from two boys ages 15 and 16 years of age.

While police were investigating a separate incident, an amount of drugs were observed sitting on a dining room table. A seven-year-old and an eight-year-old were in the residence. The drugs were seized.

A man in white shorts and wearing a black backpack attempting to break into vehicles in the 4800 block of Haugland Ave. Police arrested a 20-year-old man matching the description provided in the area. He was in possession of a flashlight and a mountain bike he claims to have found. Under investigation till victims come forward.

Possible impaired driver in an older grey Caravan. Checks were done of the area.

Suicidal man at Copperside Foods on Kalum St.

Thornhill

Domestic dispute. People were spoken with. The disturbance was a sick child.

Theft of prescription medication.

Uttering threats investigation.

Well-being check of overdue travellers. Under investigation.

A pressure washer was found in the woods near Haugland Ave./Crescent St.

Rural

A man gave access to his bank card with pin. Money ended up going missing. Civil matter. The man was upset that police could not pursue this matter and uttered threats. People were spoken with.

A duffel bag with a knife in it was lost somewhere east of Terrace. Not a police matter.

Intoxicated man in front of the library. The 55-year-old man was arrested.

A woman stuck in a whirlpool of the Skeena River. Swift Water Rescue, BC Ambulance, and Terrace Fire services assisted with the call. The 16-year-old girl was uninjured but shaken up.

Bad clientele at a local motel. Police gave advice on the matter.

A man punched another man. Under investigation.

A black and red Norco Wolverine mountain bike was stolen from the ball park on Agar Ave. last weekend.

Gitaus

A 31-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Vancouver. The man is held for court.
