THE CITY is going to take a second try at finding a new top executive.
A first call for candidates resulted in a shortlist selected from 41 applications with one person making it to the interview stage.
But Mayor Dave Pernarowksi says council will conduct another search in hopes of expanding the interview list.
The city began looking in the spring for a new chief administrative officer when Ron Poole announced he was leaving to take over the top municipal administrative job in Kitimat.
Duties since then have been shared among other city officials.
