Terrace RCMP say they have identified and arrested the person they believe is responsible for multiple incidents of mischief when door locks in the downtown Terrace area were glued shut.
“Business owners and commercial buildings alike have suffered thousands of dollars in damages from these acts, and the suspect recently escalated to smashing windows,” said RCMP in a March 8, 2024 release.
The release said plainclothes investigators made an identification after seeking search warrants and court orders requiring people to hand over specific documents.
“RCMP will be submitting the results of their investigation to BC Prosecution Services at a later time,” the statement added.
“Terrace RCMP would like to thank the members of the Terrace community who have assisted in the investigation and helped provide evidence.”
