RCMP are now reporting a third arson attempt in Terrace, BC
Terrace RCMP are investigating a failed arson attempt of the George Little House that occurred
sometime last night. The fire fizzled out on the front porch. There was no damage to the building.
“Police can not say for certain if this is the same person responsible for the arson attempts of the
Best Western Inn. Terrace RCMP and the Forensic Identification Unit are working diligently in
identifying a suspect in all three of these failed arson attempts, “ says Cst. Rob Hull of the Terrace
RCMP.
The George Little House is located almost immediately adjacent to the Best Western Inn at the foot of Kalum.
It's so named because it at one time was the home of the founder of Terrace, George Little.
The home was moved to its current location several years ago and extensively renovated.
It also serves as the VIA Rail station in Terrace.
