Approximately 50 people stood outside Terrace City Hall today as part of the global climate strike.

Arranged by Plastic Free Terrace founder Leticia Kistamas, students skipped school and others left work to bring awareness to the environmental state of the planet, urging everyone to make positive changes.

Amongst the crowd was NDP candidate for Skeena-Bulkley Valley Taylor Bachrach, Green Party candidate Mike Sawyer and Independent candidate Danny Nunes.

More to come.
