Terrace drivers and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution today as a freezing drizzle has made the outdoors quite a slippery scene.
A warning was issued today by Environment Canada's weather office, saying that extended periods of freezing drizzle are expected.
Morning drizzle has accumulated outdoors, starting in the morning's wee hours and continuing into this afternoon, leaving a layer of ice on outdoor surfaces.
Not all ice accumulation may be visible, making slippery surfaces sometimes hard to detect.
