Terrace RCMP are getting ready to fill up with food and monetary donations during the 7th Annual Cram a Cruiser event.
On Saturday Dec. 16, from noon to 3 p.m., Terrace RCMP and its community partners are teaming up with Save On Foods, Safeway, Real Canadian Wholesale, and Walmart to support local food banks.
“Cram a Cruiser is a highlight of the season for the Terrace RCMP,” said Constable Crystal Evelyn, Community Policing and Media Liaison for the Terrace RCMP.
”The generosity and kindness of the community really shines through at an event like this. It’s a great reminder of how much people care and look after each other in this beautiful town.”
Police cruisers, officers, auxiliary members, and volunteers will be parked out front of each grocery store location, making it easy for shoppers to donate non-perishable food items, cash and gift certificates to help the Terrace Churches Food Bank and the Salvation Army stock their shelves in time for Christmas.
