One city councillor hopeful changed his mind about running in the coming elections.

Martin Holzbauer pulled his name from the list.

His name will not be appearing on the ballots in November’s municipal elections.

This leaves 12 candidates now running for seats: Marilyn Davies, Mary Ann Freeman, Lynne Christiansen, Tamara Ainscow, Brian Downie, Chris Gee, Tyson Hull, Bruce Bidgood, Mike Ross, Stacey Tyers, James Cordeiro and Dan LeFrancois.

October 21 is the last day for candidates or those who endorsed them to withdraw.

General election day is Nov. 19.
