THE appearance of several grizzly bears by the Kitimat River Bridge north of Kitimat along Hwy37 South this spring has drawn the interest of many motorists travelling the road every day.
Conservation officers warn that the practice of feeding bears reduces their fear of humans which, in turn, makes them a danger to humans.
And when that happens, one of the few options left for conservation officers is to destroy them.
