Attempted theft from little old lady Saturday

Someone attempted to steal the keys from a little old lady at the gas pumps last Saturday.

Someone attempted to steal from a little old lady who was filling up her vehicle at Husky last Saturday, according to a witness who stopped by The Terrace Standard.

The RCMP reported that they were called to a business on the 4700 Block of Lakelse Avenue at around 8:24 p.m.

“A man was accused of grabbing a woman’s car keys and running away with them,” emailed RCMP media relations officer Const. Crystal Evelyn.

Police attended and patrolled the area for the man, and are investigating a suspect after obtaining statements and surveillance.

Investigation is ongoing.
