UPDATE: Snowfall expected to change to freezing rain

As milder air from the Pacific moves over the Terrace and Kitimat areas, today’s snowfall may soon change to rain with a risk of freezing rain during the transition, warns Environment Canada.

“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions,” the storm warning states. “Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.”
