Environment Canada has issued another winter storm warning for the Terrace and Kitimat areas. Expect periods of heavy snow to continue over inland sections of the north coast today and tonight. An additional 10 to 20 cm snow is expected by Tuesday morning, when milder air from the Pacific will transition the snow to rain.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Environment Canada asks residents to consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
This is the second winter storm warning issued since Saturday.
