The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy lifted the air quality advisory for Terrace Friday morning at 8:15 a.m.

The advisory was in effect on Feb. 22 after finding high concentrations of fine particulate matter, which refers to airborne solid or liquid droplets sourced from open burning of forestry slash, wood smoke, as well as emissions from industry and transportation.

Real-time air quality observations and information regarding the health effects of air pollution can be found at http://www.bcairquality.ca.
