The Terrace Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 30th year June 15 with a season finale at Knox United Church.

Under the baton of conductor Michael Wen, the orchestra will perform new works but also ones presented to audiences in its earlier years.

Wen will be assisted by guest conductors Jose Coosemans and Gene Ramsbottom.

As a guest clarinetist, Ramsbottom has been a fixture at symphony performances for years as a supporter, clinician and participant.

The symphony invites past participants to attend as its guest. Refreshments will follow as will memories over the years.

The symphony was founded by Jim Ryan who pushed, pulled and cajoled anyone he knew who played in a band or orchestra to come out and play.

Tickets are available at Misty River Books. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
