MAGGY OTTENBREIT has written a song that’s been recorded on CDs for sale with proceeds after expenses going to Heritage Park Museum.

A NEW CD showcases a young local singer’s talent for a good cause.

Maggy Ottenbreit has written a song along with pianist and singer Karin Ljungh, drummer and producer Jim Ljungh and guitar and bass guitar player Mark Ciccone.

After she sang while riding the Terrace float at Seafest in Prince Rupert this year, Ottenbreit was asked to write a song.

She wrote the lyrics, Karin put the music to it and Jimmy and Mark produced it.

The CD, Reliving History at Heritage Park in Terrace B.C. with Maggy Mae, was a “really big team effort because it was a lot of work,” said Ottenbreit.

Proceeds from sales of the CD after expenses go to Heritage Park Museum.

CDs are on sale around town.
