Terrace's Salvation Army is benefiting from a local store's angelic donation.
Cooks Jewellers' store manager Marielle Petitpas handed the Salvation Army's Captain Dave Moulton a cheque for $1,600 yesterday.
The money comes from selling angel ornaments during the Christmas season that are specially made for the occasion.
This is Cooks Jewellers' 10th year contributing to the Salvation Army, and the Terrace's store sold out last Christmas and had to order more in.
The money will go directly into the Salvation Army's family services.
“It's one of the ones we depend on every year,” Moulton said of the donation.
