A LOCAL store continued its yearly fundraiser to support one of its favourite events.
Save On Foods raised $238 from selling ice cream treats on Aboriginal Day for its third year to help Kermode Friendship Society with money for next year's event.
Store manager Darren Davies said he heard about Aboriginal Days about four years ago and went to see what it was all about.
He thought it was an impressive event, having never seen anything quite like it before or the number of people that came out for it.
The store wanted to get involved and decided to sell ice cream novelties to raise money to help with next year's Aboriginal Days.
